Our Mission
At RefServe, our mission is to provide refugees with free, individualized, and flexible English tutoring to help them achieve their personal and professional goals in their new cultural context.
Our primary goal is to assist refugees 1-on-1 by providing free English language tutoring. In addition to English tutoring, we also help refugees with job applications (resumes, cover letters, etc.) and higher education-related needs (college applications, scholarship searching, navigating digital instructional platforms, etc.). Above all, we tailor our services to meet the individual needs of each of our students.

We are a volunteer-led organization committed to ensuring that our services are offered at no cost to students.
Individualized
Every student is matched with a personal tutor that suits their academic or personal needs.
Flexible
We work around each student’s individual availability to schedule lessons.
